Where it began
Think! Before You Solve started in a garage, with a whiteboard, a few desks, and a handful of students. It began as a simple act of service.
Over time, parents, children, and neighbors joined in. What grew wasn’t just a class, but a community working together to make math feel less intimidating and more human.
We saw early on that small wins in math could unlock something much bigger: confidence, voice, and a sense of belonging.
How the program evolved
What began as simple homework help slowly revealed something deeper. Students didn’t just need answers they needed time, patience, and a place where struggling was allowed.
As we listened and learned, the program grew into a structured five course journey designed to meet students where they are and carry them forward with confidence. From Elementary Math through Trigonometry, each class balances rigorous skill-building with persistence, communication, and community support.
Students don’t just “get the answer.” They learn how to think through uncertainty, explain their reasoning, and stay present when problems get hard. Skills that carry far beyond math.
